Agave Plants are desert Succulents that are impressive at first sight. These desert plants are tall, broad, structural, and rich in color. They form the same rosette shape as many Succulents but on a larger scale. They are commonly confused with Cactus Plants, but the main difference is easy to spot: Agaves have leaves, and Cacti do not.

Drawbacks of live Agave Plants include sharp, pointy leaves (sometimes with prickly edges) that can cause injury or irritation. They’re also prone to rotting, and they need warmer climates to thrive.
