Westgate Resorts of Orlando, Florida, built a 50-story ultra-modern tower in Las Vegas connected to the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino. The complex is now known as Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations.
Our artisans were selected to implement the owner’s design vision by custom manufacturing and installing unique artificial plant concepts throughout the property. The valet area had more than 400 linear feet of in-ground planters that required permanent Artificial Bamboo.
Interior spaces on four levels included the construction of Replica Palm Trees with original hand carved trunks with detailed faux painting. To top it off, on the exterior pool deck, three stories up and exposed to all weather conditions, landscapers added multiple rooftop planters made UV-rated to withstand the elements.
We provided thousands of commercial-grade Artificial Plants and Bamboo Clumps for the valet area. Additionally, the property features numerous interior and exterior Artificial Trees and Plants, including Phoenix roebelenii Palm Trees, 15’ tall Artificial Green Bamboo clumps, 16’ tall Artificial Palm Trees with hand-carved trunks, and flame retardant palm fronds, Artificial Bird of Paradise and Ginger Plants, all of which were set in custom-crafted designer planters.
All of the commercial-grade exterior artificial trees and plants were constructed using ultraviolet-inhibited (UVI) materials. Additionally, our grass units work within a landscape, even with natural live plants. The Pool Deck’s living grasses were burning out, so we planted Fabricated Liriope to replace this grass among live agaves.
This permanent element is also used as ground cover with containerized planters or as a foliage accent to other color components. The Whalers project in Maui, HI, had hundreds of lanai planters that included Liriope as a foliage contrast with other plants.
