Preserved Coconut Palm Trees for Consolidated Theatres Kapolei
No items found.

Movie theaters these days are increasingly more than just for “going to the movies.” They are also becoming part of the restaurant and part of the event space. Consolidated Theatres Kapolei on Oahu, Hawaii, is no exception. In addition to having eight large screens with luxury seating, the cinema’s concessions counter offers an extensive menu of locally-themed cuisine that can be enjoyed in the auditoriums during shows.

To enhance the local Hawaiian theme, the lobby has been fully remodeled using a Fred Dagdagan design and featuring a mural by local artists and POW! WOW! Co-founder Kamea Hadar and Los Angeles-based artist and POW! WOW! Participant, Tristan Eaton. Topping it all off is a pair of our Preserved Coconut Palm Trees astride the foyer to welcome moviegoers to the theaters. These, in particular, were made using preserved fronds and steel trunks, all inherently fire resistant (IFR).
