Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is a theme park with many distinctions, and we provide the majority of the interior landscaping there! It’s the first Ferrari-branded theme park in the world, holds the record for the largest space frame structure ever built, and is home to the world’s fastest roller coaster.
Our Artificial Trees and Preserved Trees are on display within this mainly indoor theme park, along with our Artificial Boxwood Hedges, Grass, and Foliage. We generally use UltraLeaf-IFR® Foliage for interior spaces because it is inherently fire retardant. It meets fire safety codes and is approved for commercial use. The structure is largely made of glass, though, and it allows a significant amount of sunlight to shine in. So we also used our Ultraviolet Inhibited UltraLeaf-X® Foliage.
Three different kinds of Preserved Palm Trees were used for Ferrari World: Preserved Phoenix Dactylifera (Date) Palm Trees, Preserved Washingtonia Robusta Palm Trees, and Preserved Phoenix Roebelenii (Pygmy Date) Palm Trees. We also have our Preserved Juniper Italian Cypress Topiary Trees throughout. These products are made with natural materials and may qualify for LEED credits.
Our Artificial Trees are also prominent within Ferrari World; you can see our faux Mediterranean Olive Trees, Birch Trees, and Sugar Maple Trees there. All of these, along with our Artificial Weeping Golden Bamboo, Artificial Grass, and Artificial Foliage, combine to create a fantastical oasis within the United Arab Emirates.
Ferrari World opened in 2010, but it continues to make news years after. In 2019, it won the World’s Leading Theme Park award at the World Travel Awards. They’ve also recently expanded with a Family Zone that offers more kid-friendly rides. If you’re a fan of Ferraris, world travel, or trees, you’re sure to enjoy a visit to Ferrari World.
